Sun & Moon is a youth group for pagan children of diverse paths. Therefore, we will be exploring the different aspects of all these while learning about the basic core beliefs of paganism.
Children, Tweens, and Teens will learn about respect for the world around them and all its creatures, the Wheel of the Year, reverence for nature, sabbats and esbats, phases and cycles of the moon and planetary alignments, varying correspondences, the magick within (not necessarily witchcraft as not all pagans practice witchcraft), karma and reincarnation, Gods/Goddesses/Deities from varying cultures, religious paths, and pantheons, basic rituals and traditions, and various other principles. Our Youth will also be exploring pagan books and art!
Activities will depend specifically on the age group they are being presented to. We want the children to be as involved in their learning as possible, and we encourage going against the beaten path. We will also be involving our youth in community projects!
Specific curriculum will be posted after the Planning Meeting on July 18!
